Why Were My Timekeeper Rate Requests Rejected?

What a Rejection Means

A Rejected timekeeper rate means your client reviewed the rate and chose not to approve it. Rejected rates cannot be used on invoices.

📌 Brightflag Support cannot reverse or override a client's decision. If you disagree with a rejection, contact your client directly.

How to See the Rejection Reason

  1. Go to Menu > Timekeepers.

  2. Open the Rejected tab.

  3. Click the timekeeper's name.

  4. Scroll all the way to the right of the table to find the Reviewed By and Review Note columns. The Review Note column shows the client's reason for rejecting the rate.

If the Review Note column is empty, the client did not leave a reason. Contact your client directly to ask why the rate was rejected.

What to Do Next

Once you know the reason, you can submit a corrected rate for the client to review. See: How to Update or Change an Existing Timekeeper Rate.
