How Do I Find a Matter in Brightflag?

Use this guide if you already expect to have access to a Matter and simply need help locating it.

📌 Steps to Search for a Matter

1️⃣ Go to the Matters Page

• Navigate to Menu > Matters > View Matters

2️⃣ Use Search Filters

You can search using any of the following:

• Matter Reference

• Matter Name

• Client Matter ID

• Matter Category 

• Matter Status

• Matter Entity

• Client Matter Lead

3️⃣ Click Search

• Make sure you click Search after entering your criteria

• Results will not appear until you do

4️⃣ Open the Matter

• Click the Matter Name to open the Matter details page
