Step 1: Don't Ignore the Warning

If your file has errors, a warning message appears after you upload it. Rows with errors have not been submitted, so you need to fix them.

Step 2: Download the Error File

Click Download Errors. An Excel file will download to your computer.

Step 3: Find the Errors

Open the downloaded file:

  • Cells with errors are highlighted.

  • The Errors column (column N) explains what's wrong with each highlighted row.

Step 4: Fix and Re-upload

  1. Correct the highlighted cells directly in the error file.

  2. Return to Menu > Timekeepers and click Bulk Submit.

  3. Click Browse, select the corrected file, and click Submit.

You don't need to delete the Errors column before re-uploading. Brightflag ignores it.

Only rows with errors need fixing.
