If your client is about to go live with Brightflag and you’re waiting on access, here's what you need to know. Access is not available before go-live and can only be granted by the client or your firm's Vendor Admin.

📅 When Will I Get Access?

⚠️ Important:
You will only be granted access after the client has gone live on Brightflag.

  • Access cannot be set up before the go-live date.
  • Only the client and your firm's Vendor Admins can add users and assign permissions.
  • Please check your inbox for a Brightflag notification email confirming the go-live or activation date.

👣 What Happens at Go-Live?

💡 Typical Process:
When a new client sets up with Brightflag, they usually contact each law firm to request a list of users who need access.

Here’s what happens next:

StepDescription
📝 Step 1The client requests user lists from each law firm.
📤 Step 2The law firm shares names/emails of users who need access.
Step 3Brightflag adds those users on the go-live date.

🚫 Brightflag does not add users in advance or without a user list from the firm. If you have not been added automatically, this is most typically due to your firm not providing your client with the relevant user details to be created in Brigthflag.

🧑‍💼 Who Can Grant Access?

RoleCan Add or Edit Users?
Client Admin✅ Yes
Vendor Admin (at your firm)✅ Yes
Brightflag Support❌ No

Note: Brightflag Support cannot add or modify user permissions under any circumstance.

❓ What If I Don’t Have Access After Go-Live?

If it's the go-live date or later and you still don't have access, follow these steps:

  1. 👤 Reach out to your firm's Vendor Admin
They can check your access or add you directly.
  2. 💬 Contact your client directly
They can invite you to the platform.

📨 Need Help?

While we can’t change access permissions, we’re happy to point you in the right direction! Please reach out if you're unsure who your Vendor Admin is.
