Email Verification

This feature adds an extra level of security for law firms when logging in to the Brightflag portal, requiring the user to enter a unique, time-limited code that is sent to their email address. This can be seen by an extra step being required and the below message is presented when you try to log in to the platform using your account name / email.

You will also receive an email from invoices@brightflag.com (please make sure that this is not blocked by your webmail filter/spam) to your account's inbox that will include a 6-digit code that remains valid for 15 minutes and will need to be entered into the empty field above.

Time Limit of the authentication code

Please note that This code will expire in 15 minutes. If the code is entered after the 15 minutes limit, the system will not accept it and will show a "Try again" message, at which point you need to resend a new code and enter it within the 15 minutes window by using the RESEND CODE button.

If your client decides to turn this feature ON, the above steps will need to be completed and Brightflag Support Team can not disable it or resend new codes on your behalf.
