How to Change a Timekeeper ID in Brightflag

Short Answer

Timekeeper IDs can only be updated using Bulk Submit and do not require client re-approval.


Steps to Change a Timekeeper ID

  1. Go to Menu > Timekeepers.
  2. Click Bulk Submit.
  3. Download the template containing existing timekeepers.
  4. Remove all rows except the timekeeper being updated.
  5. Update the Timekeeper ID field.
  6. Upload the file using Bulk Submit.

📌 Changing a Timekeeper ID does not create a new rate or trigger client approval.


Important Notes

  • Do not change the timekeeper name when updating the ID.
  • Changing both name and ID will create a new timekeeper record.
