What This Error Means
You are submitting a LEDES invoice, and your client requires a PDF copy of the invoice to be attached.
If you see error BF122, it means:
The LEDES file was uploaded, but
The invoice PDF was not attached
Some clients have a setting turned on that makes the PDF mandatory — even for LEDES submissions.
If the PDF is missing, the invoice cannot be submitted.
How to Resolve It
When uploading your LEDES invoice:
Upload your LEDES file as normal.
In the Invoice PDF section, click Add Invoice PDF.
Upload the PDF version of your invoice.

Once the PDF is added in the correct section, resubmit the invoice.
