Unlocking Vendor User Accounts (Admins Only)

Quick answer

If a user can’t log in and password reset doesn’t work, an Admin must unlock the account.

⚠️ Only admins can do this.


Before you unlock a user

Confirm the user has already:

  • Tried resetting their password

  • Used the correct Brightflag login link

If those steps didn’t work, continue below.


Unlock a standard user

  1. Go to Menu → My Firm → Firm Details

  2. Find the user in the list

  3. Check the Disabled box

  4. Refresh the page

  5. Uncheck the Disabled box

  6. Refresh again

The user can now reset their password and log in.


Important

  • You cannot unlock your own account. If you are the only Vendor Admin at your firm, contact your client’s Brightflag Admin and ask them to unlock your access

  • Brightflag Support cannot unlock vendor accounts
