How to Activate a New User in Brightflag

You need to activate your Brightflag account for the first time or after being added to a different Brightflag server.

📌 Brightflag has three different servers. If you start using a client on a new server, you must activate your user access for that server separately.

If you are accessing a new client on the same server, you do not need to reactivate your account. Simply log in with your existing password and switch client views.


🔹 When Do You Need to Activate Your Account?

First-Time Users: If this is your first time using Brightflag, you must activate your account before logging in.
Using a Different Brightflag Server: If you’ve used Brightflag before but on a different server, you must activate your account again for the new server before logging in.


🔹 How to Activate Your Brightflag Account

Step 1: Find Your Activation Email

✔ When your client or firm administrator adds you to Brightflag, you’ll receive an email with a link to activate your account.
Check your spam/junk folder if you don’t see the email.
✔ If you still don’t see it, ask your client or administrator which login link to use and continue with the below steps. 


Step 2: Set Up Your Password

1️⃣ Click the activation link in your email.
2️⃣ Navigate to the Brightflag login page listed in the email.
3️⃣ Click Reset Password to start the process.
4️⃣ Enter the email address that was added to Brightflag for you.
5️⃣ Check your inbox for a password reset email and click the link to set your password.

Didn’t receive the reset password email?
✔ Ensure your email was correctly added to Brightflag by your client or admin.
✔ Contact your IT team to check if Brightflag emails are blocked from reaching your inbox.


Step 3: Log In Using the Correct Brightflag URL

Brightflag has three different login servers. You must use the correct link based on your client’s setup:

🔹 North America: app.brightflag.com/login
🔹 Europe, Middle-East & Africa: enterprise.brightflag.com/login
🔹 Asia Pacific: aus.brightflag.com/login

Confirm with your client which login link to use.


🔹 Troubleshooting: Why Can’t I Log In?

🔍 I’m not sure which login link to use.
✔ Ask your client or administrator which Brightflag server your account is on.
✔ If unsure, contact Brightflag Support for assistance.

📌 Important: You cannot log in until your email has been added to Brightflag by your client or firm administrator.


🔹 Can I Activate a Colleague's Account?

⚠ It is not possible to activate someone else's account. They must follow the activation steps.
