How to Check the Status of Pending Timekeeper Rates in Brightflag

If you need to check the status of your timekeeper rate submissions in Brightflag, you can do so easily, provided you have the necessary access. Only users with Vendor Admin or Office Admin roles are able to view and track timekeeper rates. Below are the steps to follow for checking the status of any pending timekeeper rates.

Steps to Check the Status of Timekeeper Rate Submissions

1. Navigate to the Timekeepers Section
  • Go to Menu > Timekeepers: Start by selecting the Timekeepers option from the menu in the Brightflag dashboard. This will open a list of all the timekeeper submissions associated with the client you are currently logged into.
2. View the Full List of Timekeeper Submissions
  • Review Submissions: The screen will display a complete list of timekeeper submissions for the client, including relevant details such as timekeeper names, roles, and rates.
3. Check the Status of Each Submission
  • Look at the Status Column: On the far right of the list, you will see a Status column that indicates the current status of each submission (Pending, Rejected, or Approved).
  • Sort by Status: You can organize the list by clicking on the column header to sort submissions based on their status.
  • View Submission Details: Clicking on a specific timekeeper will display all submissions and their details related to that particular timekeeper.

Understanding Submission Statuses

  • Pending Status: This means that the client's Admin has not yet reviewed the submission. If a timekeeper rate remains in pending status for an extended period, you may need to follow up with the client to expedite the review process.
  • Rejected Status: If the rate has been rejected, it’s essential to contact the client for clarification and guidance on how to correct the submission.
  • Approved Status: Once a timekeeper rate is marked as approved, you are authorized to use that timekeeper’s rate on your invoices without issue.

Important Note

Brightflag support is unable to approve or reject timekeeper rates on behalf of the client. Any decisions regarding the approval, rejection, or pending status of a timekeeper rate must be handled by the client directly.
