Do I Need to Submit Accruals?

If accruals are enabled and you have open matters for that client, then:

  • An accrual must be submitted for each open matter by your firm. 


How Often Do We Need to Submit?

Accruals are submitted:

  • Once per month

  • Per client

  • For each open matter

Only one person from your firm needs to submit the accruals for that client account.


What If There Is Nothing to Accrue?

If you have no work to record for a matter during that period:

You should still submit an accrual of 0.

Submitting zero confirms to your client that:

  • You have reviewed the matter

  • There is no unbilled work for that month
