You can view accruals for the current open accrual period in Brightflag.
Once the period closes and a new period begins, vendors no longer have access to previous months’ accrual entries.
Your client retains historical access for reporting purposes.
How to View Current Accruals
Log in to Brightflag.
Go to Menu > Accruals.
On this page, you will see:
All open matters available to you
The accrual amounts submitted for the current period
The Submitted By column, which shows who submitted the accrual
If multiple users at your firm have access, you may see submissions made by colleagues.
Why Can’t I See Previous Months?
Vendors can only view accruals for the active accrual period.
Once the period closes:
A new accrual period opens
Previous entries are no longer visible to vendors
If you need accrual amounts from a prior month, contact your client directly.
