The ability to create or request matters is controlled by your client's settings. If you don't have the option to create or request a matter, contact your client and ask them to open the matter and share it with you.
To request a Matter:
- Navigate to Menu > Matters > View Matters.
- Click the Request Matter button in the top right corner.
- Fill in the required fields in the matter request form. Required fields are highlighted in pink. Click here to find out more about what each matter field means.
- Click Request Matter to send the request to your client for approval.
Once your client has approved or rejected your request, you'll receive an email notification, and the matter will be visible on the Matters page.
