Why Can’t I Request or Create a Matter in Brightflag?

📌 Your ability to create or request a matter depends on your client’s settings. Different clients have different requirements for adding matters to Brightflag.


How Matter Creation Works

Create a Matter – If the client has enabled this setting, you can create a new matter instantly.

Request a Matter – Some clients do not allow vendors to create matters but enable a "Request a Matter" function instead.

Contact Your Client – Certain clients require vendors to contact them directly to open a new matter.

🚨 Brightflag Support cannot create or request a matter on a client’s behalf.


What Should You Do?

Check your Brightflag account to see if the "Create Matter" or "Request a Matter" option is available.
If neither option is available, reach out to your client directly for guidance.
