Can Vendors Close or Delete a Matter?

No. Vendors cannot close or delete Matters in Brightflag.

Matters are client-controlled. Only the client can:

• Close or delete Matters

• Reopen closed Matters

Brightflag Support cannot perform these actions on behalf of vendors.

✔️ What Should I Do Instead?

• Contact your client and ask them to:

  • Close the Matter, or

  • Reopen the Matter if further billing is required
