What Is the Brightflag Matter Reference and Where Do I Find It?

The Brightflag Matter Reference is the unique identifier Brightflag assigns to each Matter.

It is used to identify and locate a Matter within Brightflag.

📌 This is not the same as the Client Matter ID or Firm Matter Reference.

🔍 Where to Find the Brightflag Matter Reference

1️⃣ Go to Menu > Matters > View Matters
2️⃣ Locate the Matter in the list
3️⃣ The Matter Reference appears in the first column

You can also see it when you open the Matter details page.
